This retreat will feature world renowned doctors and healers, including Best Selling Author of “Love, Medicine and Miracles”, Bernie Siegel, MD, Spiritual Scientist Bruce Lipton, PhD, Ann Marie Chiasson, MD – Director of Fellowship for the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, Dr. Diane Hayden, with a PhD in Exercise Physiology, Joan Palmer, MS, founder of The Institute of Sustainable Nutrition, and Alyson Iannicelli, MA, teacher of Energy Medicine Yoga.
The retreat will emphasize an integrative health approach to wellness during and after cancer treatments, and will include education on nutrition and the immune system, the microbiome, stress management, meditation, energy medicine techniques, the role of belief in the healing process, and much more. Q & A to follow live presentations!

Bernie Siegel, M.D.
Best Selling Author of several books including, “Love, Medicine & Miracles: Lessons Learned about Self-Healing from a Surgeon's Experience with Exceptional Patients”
Retired Yale Surgeon, Founder of Exceptional Cancer Patients, a specific form of individual and group therapy utilizing patients’ drawings, dreams, images and feelings. ECaP is based on “carefrontation,” a safe, loving therapeutic confrontation, which facilitates personal lifestyle changes, personal empowerment and healing of the individual’s life. The physical, spiritual and psychological benefits which followed led to his desire to make everyone aware of his or her healing potential. He realized exceptional behavior is what we are all capable of. He is currently working on other books with the goal of humanizing medical education and medical care, as well as, empowering patients and teaching survival behavior to enhance immune system competency.

Ann Marie Chiasson, MD, MPH, is the Director of the Fellowship at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and is board-certified in Integrative Medicine and Family Medicine. She has a long standing interest in traditional energy healing traditions and has extensive experience exploring energy medicine and alternative healing practices including time spent with Mayan shamanic healers and psychic surgeons in the Yucatan peninsula. She is the author of Energy Healing- the Essentials of Self Care (Sounds True 2013,) co-author of Self-Healing with Energy Medicine with Dr. Andrew Weil (Sounds True 2009,) as well as multiple other academic and instructional publications on Energy Healing and Integrative Medicine. She teaches Integrative Medicine and Energy Medicine around the country and has also worked extensively as a Medical Director in hospice in Tucson and as an Integrative Family Medicine physician in Tucson & Canada.
Joan Palmer, M.S. - Nutrition, Joan is Founder and Director of The Institute of Sustainable Nutrition, is on faculty at The Graduate Institute where she teaches Food As Medicine and Herbal Medicine.
Diane Hayden, PhD in Exercise, Physiology & Nutrition. Dr. Hayden is a mindset warrior, perspective shifter and unshakable optimist. She started a health and wellness publishing business with passion, and a dream, and has created a socially conscious print and digital platform that has touched thousands of people in the last 15 years.
Alyson Ianicelli, M.A. - Integrative Health
Alyson is passionate about living a harmonious life, inside and out. In 2016, she completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Spain to fully immerse herself in the practice of yoga. Upon completion of her training, she began to work for the creator of Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga), Lauren Walker, to develop the EMYoga School and their advanced EMYoga Teacher Trainings. Alyson is now a Master EMYoga Teacher and is dedicated to sharing the unique healing power of EMYoga, which incorporates acupressure holds, tapping and ancient energy medicine techniques into a classic yoga practice. Alyson believes that by combining mind, body, and energy work through yoga, each individual can unlock the ancient healing wisdom that lives within and achieve optimal well-being.
